17 individuals authorized to practice law

17 individuals have been issued authorization to practice as law at courts.

They have been given approval to practice law in a ceremony held at Supreme Court on Wednesday.

The 17 individuals took their oath before Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed in the ceremony that was attended by Attorney General Mohamed Anil.

With the 17 lawyers given authorization on Wednesday, the total number of licensed lawyers have reached 815.
