Construction of flats at Addu City to begin in March

It has been decided that construction of flats to be built under Housing Project at Addu City will start in the month of March this year.

An official of Addu City Council on Wednesday said to Sun Online that a total of 312 flats will be built in Add City, among which 264 will be built in Hithadhoo and 48 flats will be built in Hulhumeedhoo.

Officials of Housing Ministry and Project Contractor, Chinese National Machineries and Equipment and Export Corporation (CMEC) have held discussions on Tuesday regarding construction of flats to be built under Housing Project at Addu City.

The lands in which these flats are to be built has been cleared.

25 housing units have already been completed in Addu City under Housing Project.
