Anwar appointed as Immigration Controller

Mohamed Anwar of Galolhu Cinamale’ has been appointed as the Controller of Department of Immigration and Emigration.

Anwar held the post of Secretary General of Male’ City Council until appointed as Immigration Controller. Before that, Anwar has also served in Maldives Customs.

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom has transferred Hassan Ali, who was the Controller of Department of Immigration and Emigration to the post of Deputy Minister of Housing and Infrastructure.
