Elderly man arrested over sexual abuse of five year old girl

An elderly man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse of a five year old girl forcefully.

Police said that the man is an 88 year old Maldivian.

According to Police, the case was reported to them on last Saturday and the man was arrested on Sunday at 5:30 under a court warrant.

The suspect has been given a ten days’ detention period when brought to the court.
