President Nasheed arrives in Seychelles

Office of the President reports arrival of the president in Seychelles this morning, on an official visit.

President Nasheed was welcomed on arrival at the Seychelles International Airport by the Vice President of Seychelles Danny Faure, Designated Minister, Minister for Community Development, Youth & Sports and Chairman of the Indian Ocean Island Games Committee Vincent Meriton, Minister for Foreign Affairs Jean-Paul Adam, and the Honorary Consuls of the Maldives in Seychelles Lambert Bonne.

President Nasheed will meet with the President and the Vice President of Seychelles and other Government officials, during his visit. President will also attend the opening ceremony of the Indian Ocean Island Games.
