STELCO takes over Rasdhoo Powerhouse

State Electric Company Ltd (STELCO) has taken over the Powerhouse of Alifu Alfu Rashoo.

STELCO has bought Rashoo Powerhouse and the equipment used in the power house that was run by Rasdhoo community at around 2:30 p.m on Wednesday.

STELCO has brought the management of the powerhouse up to their standard before taking the responsibility to operate the powerhouse, said STELCO.

All powerhouses of Alifu Alifu atoll except the one in Thoddoo are run by STELCO at present. Thoddoo powerhouse is run by the island community.
