Two locals arrested with alcohol in Hulhumale

Police have arrested two Maldivian men with several cans of beer in Hulhumale’.

Police said that 12 cans of beer were found in a black bag, after the two men were searched near Tsunami Jetty at around 8:30 p.m. on Monday.

The suspects are aged 21 and 22.

The case is under investigation by the Hulhumale’ Police Station and the Drug Enforcement Department of Maldives Police Service.
