Expatriate injured in assault in Male

An expatriate has been injured in an assault that took place in Male’ on Monday evening.

Police said that the expatriate injured in the assault that took place near Mahchangoalhi Redwave at around 7:15 p.m. has been taken into Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

According to Police Media Official, no one has been arrested yet over that assault, but they have started searching for the suspects.

Police have arrested 11 individuals on Sunday with weapons used for assault and a police man has been injured while trying to control the assault.
