President ratifies four bills passed by Parliament

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has on Monday ratified four bills passed by the parliament.

President Yameen on Monday, ratified the First Amendment to the “Banking Act of Maldives”, the ?Fourth Amendment to the “Land Act of Maldives”, ?the “Extradition Act”, and the “Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Act”.

The Bills were submitted to the Parliament by the government and passed by the Parliament at the 29th sitting of its third session, on 25th December 2014. The Acts have been published in the Government Gazette following ratification.
