President Yameen sends message to Saudi Crown Prince following Saudi King

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message to His Royal Highness Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on learning about the indisposition and hospitalization of His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud.

According to the President’s Office, President Yameen said in his message, “I was deeply concerned to learn about the recent hospitalisation of His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud. As a leader of indisputable foresight and vision, His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud has steered Saudi Arabia to impressive heights of development. His wisdom and foresight earned him great admiration and respect not only in his own country but across the world, and I am pleased to learn about his fast recovery.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, I would like to extend our sincere support and best wishes for His Majesty, as well as our prayers for his good health, and hope that he will soon be able to resume his daily duties.”
