Civil Court has recognized the service of Aisha Shujoon Mohamed following her resignation.
Award of recognition has been presented to recognize the service of Shujoon in an event held on Tuesday evening at Civil Court. As a Judge at Civil Court, Shujoon has managed that Court for a long period.
All staff and Judges including Chief Judge Ali Rasheed of Civil Court has participated in the event held to recognize Shojoon’s service. Judges and some staff have expressed their feelings for Shujoon in the event.
Shujoon started government service on 12 February 1997. Shujoon, who is the first female Judge in Maldives, has been appointed as the Judge of Civil Court on 11 July 2007. She went abroad for further studies from 10 February 2008 to 20 January 2009. She was appointed as a Judge at Civil Court for the second time on 21 January 2009 and remained working there until she has resigned from her post at Civil Court on Tuesday.
