Security Forces: We will do whatever possible to maintain harmony

Security Forces have warned the people who try to obstruct peace and stability of the country saying that they will take whatever actions to maintain harmony in the country.

A joint statement released by the Police and MNDF on Monday afternoon read that it is a responsibility of the Security Forces to give security and ensure safety for those who arrive Maldives to invest, take part in special meetings and events.

It was also noted that economy of Maldives depends on Tourism and the Security Forces would not step behind taking actions against those who try to obstruct economy of the country.

While the Security Forces have released the statement, a death threat against the popular rapper Sean Paul has been posted online regarding the Tourist Arrival Show organised for Wednesday evening. Taking the security measures of the show has been handed over to Police and MNDF.
