Minor, three adults arrested with drugs and alcohol

A minor and three adults have been arrested with drugs and alcohol in a search operation conducted under warrant issued by the Court.

Police have said that they have arrested a 23 year old man, two men of age 19 and a16 year old boy. All these are Maldivians, said Police.

Police have seized drugs and alcohol from Hulhumale’ Flat Number 08-03-51 in an operation conducted with Police Intelligence after receiving information on handling and dealing of drugs.

Five bottles of alcohol, 236 Cellophane pieces and a small plastic container containing a substance suspected to be drugs were discovered by the police from the room where the four people were found at that time.

This case is under investigation by Hulhumale’ Police Station, Family and child Protection Department and Drug Enforcement Department.
