Police starts searching for man suspected of hiding a girl

Police have made an announcement to search for a 23 year old man who is accused to have hid a girl of under 18 years.

Police are searching for Ikram Waheed of Seenuge, Gaafu Dhaalu Rathafandhoo.

Ikram has provided false information regarding Ikram’s and the girl’s personal details when asked by the police and because whereabouts of Ikram has not been informed, Police have failed to present him to Police Station, said Police.

Police have urged anyone who has any information on Ikram to step forward and contact Maldives Police Service hotline 3322111 or Shaviyani Funadhoo Police Station number 9792237.
