Individual released by court arrested with drugs

An individual arrested by police over a drug case and released by the Court for failing to present the suspect to the Court on time for extending the detention period, has again been arrested by the police with drugs.

Drug Enforcement Department Head, Superintendent Ahmed Shifan on Thursday said that the person has been arrested with ten bullets on Wednesday evening from a road.

Shifan added that an additional person has also been arrested over that case.

The man was first arrested in accusation of a major drug dealer with large amount of money and 243 milligram of drugs from Ma.Finefenijanbumaage.
