Parliament schedules final meeting for this year for Thursday

The parliament has decided to hold its final meeting for 2014 on Thursday, 25 December.

Kelaa MP Ali Arif told Sun Online that the decision hold the meeting on Thursday follows discussion with the parties represented in the parliament.

The Parliament Regulation states that the parliament must convene on the last Monday or Thursday of every year.

The agenda for Thursday’s meeting has not been announced by the Parliament Secretariat.

After this meeting, the parliament will reconvene in the first week of March.
