Ibrahim Nasir International Airport resumes operations

Ibrahim Naasir International Airport resumes operations after a close down today due to an incident of hydraulic failure in an Etihad Airways jet.

The Airport runway was closed for two hours after the incident, around 15:00 hrs. this evening. Runway was opened to begin operations again around 17:00 hours.

The jet was parked at the Airport for a long time after the incident. Officials have not revealed the details of how and why the incident occurred.
