Go Media has announced that this year’s edition of the annual Nigh Market would begin next week, on Wednesday, 3rd of December.
Ibrahim Amir, Managing Director of Go Media, told Sun Online today that traders have been requesting for a new Night Market during the Al’haa Eid, in addition to the annual Ramadan Night Market.
Night Market is a very popular street business fair where a wide range of consumer goods are available at special prices.
Amir said that this year’s edition of the Night Market would also be a very special opportunity for people, with a variety of items at very low prices.
Amir said that the timing is set with the influx of many people from islands into Malé as the annual school vacation has begun.
This year, there would be 450 stalls, 48 tents and four fast-food canteens to serve visitors.
Traders have also begun preparations for the Market, according to reports.
The Night Market, which would take place at the Raalhugandu Area would continue until 12 of December.
