Rumor starts saying Rilwan got online with FB

Rumors have started to spread, saying that Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla has got online from his Face Book (FB) account.

Zaheena Rasheed, the Deputy Editor of Minivan News said to Sun Online on Wednesday that some people have reported to Minivan News that Rilwan has got online from FB at around 7:30 pm Wednesday, however, they were not clear of how it happened, neither has it been confirmed yet.

She said that according to the information gained so far, no conversation through FB was held with anyone, although Rilwan has got online. Zaheena raised concerns for not knowing anything and not revealing any information regarding Rilwan’s case by the concerned authorities even after so many days of Rilwan been missing.

Police Media Official said that a rumor of that kind is being spread in the social media and they have started investigating it.

Rilwan has been missing for 109 days. He is believed to have gone missing in the middle of the night near his residence in Hulhumale’.
