It has been decided to take the students who produced the most innovative creation among the students who participated in Science Exhibition organized by Maldives Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in America.
While five schools participated in four categories of science exhibition held on Sunday at Iskandhar School under the theme “Success through Experiments”, secondary students of Jamaaluddin School presented the most innovative creation in the exhibition.
Mohamed Shah, secretary of MNCCI said to Sun Online that they have discussed with the American Embassy regarding taking the students involved in presenting the most innovative creation in “Success through Experiments” to NASA. He noted that American Embassy has also shown interest towards taking the students to NASA.
Shah said that a special event has been organized to the best school among the schools participated in “Success through Experiments”. In that regard he said that a telescope and a dome would be installed in the terrace of Giyasuddin International School, which has been selected as the best school in “Success through Experiments”. He added that around MVR 200,000 would be spent on the telescope, which would be installed in Giyasuddin School.
Ghiyaduddin School has been selected as the best school from the Lower Primary and Primary categories, while Jamaaluddin School has been selected as the best school in Secondary category and Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) was selected as the best school in Higher Secondary category in “Success through Experiments”.
