Suspect arrested over Rilwan

The only suspect who remained in police custody over the disappearance of Minivan News Journalist Ahmed Rilwan Mohamed has been transferred to house arrest.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online that the 24-year-old man was moved to house arrest on Thursday. He said that the remand period for the suspect has been extended on five occasions by the Criminal Court.

Rilwan has been missing for over 100 days. He is believed to have gone missing in the middle of the night near his residence in Hulhumale’.
