Ministry of Education has signed an agreement with Archeng Studio to design the structure of 11 schools under the effort to solve the issue of lack of space in schools.
In a ceremony held at Ministry of Education on Thursday, Deputy Minister Abdul Sameeu Hassan from Ministry of Education signed the agreement assigning the project worth MVR 90,000 to Archeng Studio. Director Mohamed Hameen signed the agreement on behalf of Archeng Studio.
The schools mentioned in the agreement were a block of five classrooms in Gaafu Alifu Gemanafushee School, two pre-schools of Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi, five classrooms and a block of supervisors’ room of Gaafu Dhaalu Hoadehdhoo School, a block of 12 classrooms of Feydhoo of Addu city, 10-classroom block of Haa Alif Ihavandhoo School. Apart from this library, science laboratory, two classrooms, Audio Visual room and a block of six classrooms were assigned to design.
Ministry of Education said that this project would be completed within 90 days of singing the agreement.
