Runaway girl found after more than one month

A 16-year-old girl who ran away has been found after missing for more than one month.

Police said that Fathimath Mal-ha has been found under the search operation commenced on 25th August 2014 by Family and Child protection Department of Maldives Police Service at around 5:20 p.m. today from Hulhumale’ Ferry Terminal, and she was in good condition when found.

Police said that Family and Child Protection Department with Male’ City Police searched places of Male’, Hulhumale’ and Villimale’ under search warrant issued by the court in search operation conducted to find Fathimath Mal-ha.

Apart from this, police said that they have searched places in atoll islands through Police Stations established in atolls as well, for Fathimath Mal-ha.
