Safe containing Euros stolen from resort

Police have initiated an investigation after a safe was stolen from the room of tourists who were in Club Med Kani Resort near Kaafu Huraa.

Police media official said that the case, where a safe and some other items were stolen from a room in a resort near by Male’, was reported last Friday around 11:30 p.m. Official said that the safe was stolen with €1,000 (MVR 19,739).

Though police did not reveal the name of the resort where the incident happened, Sun Online has come to know that it was Club Med Kani Resort.

That case is under investigation, but no one has been arrested regarding the case so far.
