Ahmed Mohamed

Ahmed Mohamed has been nominated as the Ambassador to India, and his name has been submitted to parliament for approval.

Approval of Ahmed Mohamed as Ambassador to India has been placed on Monday’s agenda of the parliament meeting. Ahmed Mohamed was Commissioner General of Customs before he was transferred to the post of Ambassador-at-Large of Foreign Ministry. His name would be announced in the parliament floor tomorrow and would be sent to the committee for evaluation.

Ahmed Mohamed was a cabinet minister of Dr Mohamed Waheed’s government. He was appointed as Commissioner General of Customs and later as Ambassador-at-Large of Foreign Ministry at Minister level.
