Finance Ministry requests offices to submit details of Audit Report issues

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury has notified all government offices to submit details of the issues highlighted in their respective Audit Reports.

Minister of Finance Abdulla Jihad said in a circular sent to government offices, that details of action to be taken under the Public Finance Act and details of persons accused of negligence in Audit Reports issued before 2 October, should be submitted to the Finance Ministry by 30 November.

The circular states that details of issues highlighted in Audit Reports issued after 2 October, must be submitted to the Ministry within 30 days from the day the report is issued.
