Glass door of MDP office shattered again

The glass on the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) office has been shattered yet again.

Speaking to Sun about the shattered glass in the main office of the party, located on Sosun Magu, an official of MDP said that the vandalism was committed sometime last night.

“The glass has been shattered previously, so we have fixed a plastic frame from the inside. Despite that the glass was shattered from outside last night,” the official said.

He also informed that though the glass was shattered, nothing else was vandalized.

A media official of the Maldives Police Service informed Sun that the incident was reported at 12:10 last night. He said that the matter is under investigation now and no arrests have been made on this case yet.

A journalist from Sun went to the site and found the glass smashed in three places.

The glass of the MDP office has been shattered on several occasions previously, the last time being in June this year.
