Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated ECG machines to Baa Atoll Hospital and health centres in Kendhoo and Goidhoo.
The donations were handed over at a function held yesterday at Baa Atoll Hospital, by CEO and Managing Director of BML Andrew Healy, and accepted by Acting Minister of Health Colonel Retired Mohamed Nazim.
Speaking at the ceremony, Acting Health Minister Nazim said that the donation made by BML is exemplary, and encourages others to contribute to the health sector in the future.
BML made these donations after Baa Atoll Hospital and health centres in Kendhoo and Goidhoo received the Best Performing Hospital Award on World Health Day, given by the Health Ministry.
This function held to hand over the donations was attended by dignitaries of Health Ministry, senior officials of BML, and members of the Baa Atoll and Eydhafushi Councils.
