Fire breaks out at Filaa Building

A fire has broken out at Filaa Building, near the Fish Market, in Male’.

Spokesperson for the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Major Hussain Ali told Sun Online that no one was injured in the fire, which took place at around 3:15 p.m.

He said that the fire was extinguished within about 15 minutes.

Efforts are ongoing to determine the extent of the damage caused to the building following this incident.
