Nasira dies

Nasira Abdulla has passed away this morning at the age of 57, after battling an illness.

Nasira’s childhood friend Nazna Ibrahim told Sun Online that Nasira had been living at her place for the past two days.

Nazna said that Nasira’s condition got worse this morning but she refused to see a doctor, and was dead when she was taken to the hospital.

Nasira had been ill for the past three months and consulted a doctor about a week ago, but her illness was not determined. According to Nazna, Nasira was vomiting and suffering from a stomach ache.

Nasira often lived on the street in Male’ and slept at places such as the fish market. She was a hard-working, helpful person who for example, helped people buy fish from the market and carry them home.
