Foreign national dies in accident involving dinghy, speedboat

A Bangladeshi man has died in an accident involving a dinghy and a speedboat near Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo.

The speedboat and dinghy owned by Robinson Maldives collided at round 7:00 p.m. in Thinadhoo harbour.

A Thinadhoo resident told Sun Online that the Bangladeshi man was driving the dinghy at the time of the accident.

His body has been taken to Dr Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital.
