Fuvahmulah accident victim taken to Male

A 15-year-old victim involved in an accident in in Fuvahmulah has been taken to Male’ for further treatment.

The spokesperson for Fuvahmulah Hospital said that the victim, who is in serious condition, was sent to Male’ last night, accompanied by a nurse.

He said that the victim had suffered a broken arm, two broken wrists, and injured his right ankle.

The 18-year-old involved in this accident is improving and will not be sent to Male’, he said.

The police spokesperson said that the accident took place when the speeding motorcycle, driven by the 15-year-old with the 18-year-old on the backseat, crashed into a wall.
