Immigration temporarily stops Employment Approval for domestic servants

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has stopped the issuance of Employment Approval for domestic servants from 28 August to 30 November 2014.

This was announced on 21 August 2014, which said that this is part of the efforts to reduce the number of illegal immigrants in the country.

Earlier, the department also temporarily stopped the issuance of Employment Approval for agriculture workers, tailors, and barbers.
