Two men arrested on suspicion of abusing minor

Two men have been arrested in Noonu Kendhikulhudhoo on suspicion of sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl.

The suspects, aged 17 and 52, were arrested under a court warrant last night, after the case was reported to Noonu Manadhoo Police Station.

Police said that the case is under investigation.

Manadhoo Court has given detention of 15 days for the 52-year-old and 10 days for the 17-year-old, for the investigation.
