PPM issues three-line whip against endorsing Health Minister

The Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) parliamentary group has issued a three-line whip to its MPs to vote against Minister of Health Dr Mariyam Shakeela in her endorsement vote scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today.

Leader of PPM parliamentary group MP Mohamed Nihan Hussain Manik said that 30 MPs voted in favour of voting against the endorsement, at a meeting of the parliamentary group held today with a total attendance of 38 MPs.
