BOC donates over MVR 100,000 worth of goods to children

Bank of Ceylon (BOC) Male’ Branch has donated goods worth over MVR 100,000 to Kudakudhinge Hiya, a children’s home in Vilimale', to mark the bank's 75th anniversary.

Bank of Ceylon Country Manager in Male’ D.M.L.B. Dasanayake told Sun Online that some customers of BOC also made donations to the children’s home, along with contributions from the bank on Friday. The bank had asked the home for their needs before providing the necessary goods, and some of the materials include furniture and food items, Desanayake said.

Deputy Minister of Law and Gender Sidhatha Shareef received the goods behalf of Kudakudhinge Hiya.
