Visit Maldives website hacked

A website run by the national tourism office Maldives Market and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), visitmaldives.com has been defaced by hackers seeking to focus attention on the Israeli aggression in Gaza.

The group responsible for the attack is unclear. MMPRC was not available for comment at the time of publication.

Over a hundred government websites were defaced in a cyber attack by a group called the Syrian Revolutionary Soldiers in late May this year.
