Construction of extra jetty in Hulhumale

Work is underway to construct a new jetty in Hulhumale’.

An official from the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) said today that the jetty will be utilized by the public.

The jetty is being constructed near the area that express ferry service is provided and it is believed that the new platform will be utilized by express ferry vessels. The island currently has a heavily-congested single jetty which is utilized by both public vessels and private safari yachts.
