PIC nominees sent for committee review

Parliament floor has today forwarded for review by the Committee on Independent Institutions, names of the three individuals nominated by the President for the membership of the Police Integrity Commission (PIC).

The new nominations were forwarded to parliament for approval on 6 July. The term of three existing members at PIC will expire on 26 July.

The three new candidates for PIC membership are; Ali Nadheem, Fathimath Sareera Ali Shareef and Mohamed Farhaad.
