Maldivian arrested in Sri Lanka

A Sri Lankan newspaper has reported that a Maldivian has been arrested in Mount Lavinia.

According to Daily Mirror, two suspects, a Maldivian and a Malaysian were arrested yesterday with 10 grams of heroin.

The Maldivian was on student visa while the Malaysian was residing illegally in Sri Lanka, and they have been produced before Mount Lavinia Magistrate and remanded until 17 July, reported the paper.
