Yoosuf Abdul Gafoor appointed Minister of State for Home Affairs

Former Member of Parliament for Gan constituency, Yoosuf Abdul Ghafoor, has been appointed as Minister of State for Home Affairs.

Home Ministry already has three State Ministers in addition to Ghafoor, and a Project Advisor appointed at Deputy Minister level.

Ghafoor ran for Gan seat on Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) ticket and lost, at the Parliamentary Election in March 2014.
