AFC Challenge Cup: Palestine through to final

Palestine has won the semi-final match against Afghanistan 2 - 0 and reached the final in the AFC Challenge Cup 2014.

The match began at 3:30 p.m. at the National Football Stadium in Male', and the goals came in the 42nd and 46th minute, both by Ashraf Alfawaghra.

This is the first time Palestine reaches the final in the AFC Challenge Cup. In 2012, they reached semi-finals and lost against North Korea, ending up in fourth place.

The team that will battle it out against Palestine in the final will be decided after tonight’s semi-final match, Maldives vs Philippines, set to kick off at 9:00 p.m.

The final match will take place at the National Football Stadium in Male' at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, 30 May.
