Three employees of the IT department of the parliament have been suspended in relation to a case under investigation by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
They have been accused of creating a company and submitting proposals when the parliament sought a party to supply IT equipment for its new building.
President of ACC Hassan Luthfee told Sun Online that the parliament was notified last week to take suitable action against the three employees in relation to this case.
He said that further details cannot be provided at this stage, as the investigation is ongoing.
Details of the three employees and the duration of their suspension remain unknown, as the Parliament Secretariat was unavailable for an official comment at the time of press.
