Juvenile Court has given five days of house arrest for the girl below the age of 18 arrested by police for ‘partying’ and using drugs in Anbaraa.
The minor was among 79 people arrested in Anbaraa, an uninhabited picnic island, on Friday night. All 78 have been given detention periods of ten days by Criminal Court.
The lawyer who attended the detention period hearings said that only some of the 59 men and 19 women had tested positive for drugs.
The 59 men include one foreigner, said the police.
Police said that they raided Anbaraa on Friday night with a court warrant following information collected by Police Intelligence. In addition to the arrests, police also found large amounts of drugs and money in the island.
