Boat that went missing with 13 people on-board, found

Fishing boat Manha, for which Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) launched a search today after it had been missing for a week, has been found.

The boat carrying 13 people was found about 70 nautical miles off west Laamu Atoll.

MNDF said that the boat was found after it was contacted through satellite phone, and that everyone on-board is in good condition.

MNDF has not yet mentioned why the boat went missing.
