Criminal Court cancels today

Criminal Court has cancelled a hearing scheduled for today on the case regarding the murder of Mohamed Arham in 2012.

Arham was found murdered in Lorenzo Park in Male’.

The judge announced the cancellation and said that the lawyer representing the defendants had to attend a hearing at another court.

Media Official of Criminal Court Ahmed Mohamed Manik said that the defendant lawyer was summoned to court for 10:00 a.m.

The lawyer however said that he had not been informed of today’s hearing.

The State has charged Mansoor Yoosuf, Mohamed Visam, Athif Rasheed, and Mohamed Sufyan following Arham’s murder.

They have denied the charges, following which the State has presented several witness testimonies in court.
