Dead body found in Henveyru house

A 24-year-old has been discovered dead inside a house in Henveyru Male’ today.

Police media official said they received a report around 9:15 a.m. of dead a body found inside H. Annaaru Maage.

Sun is aware that the individual, from Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi, died from a drug overdose. Police have neither confirmed nor denied the overdose, but said the case is under investigation and that details cannot be revealed.

The body was removed and transported to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) with the assistance of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) officers.
