Fire breaks out at Orchid Plaza

A fire incident has taken place at Orchid Plaza, located on Buruzu Magu near Society for Health Education (SHE) building.

The fire broke out at a warehouse on the ground floor of the building.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Spokesperson Major Hussain Ali said that the fire has now been fully extinguished, and that no one was hurt in the incident.

He said that MNDF Fire and Rescue officers are still in the area, and the incident is under investigation by the police.
