Court glues red notice on correctional service headquarters

Civil Court has today pasted a red notice on the Maldives Correctional Service headquarters for failing to produce a prisoner to court.

Mohamed Aiman of Raa Rasgetheemu, an inmate under the care of Maldives Correctional Service, is being sought by the Civil Court in relation to a case filed by Aiman against Maldives Correctional Service.

The red notice indicates that the correctional service had failed to produce Aiman to court and orders the service to present Aiman to future hearings scheduled for 14, 21 and 28 of May 2014.

Maldives Correctional Service was unavailable for comment at the time of press.
