Licence suspended of 21 cyclists for riding against regulations

Police have suspended licences of 21 cyclists for riding against regulations, within 48 hours of the commence of a special operation against speeding in Male’.

Police have checked 196 vehicles since last Wednesday. The purpose of the operation is to make the roads of Male’ safe for everyone.

Police said that in the past 48 hours, 21 licenses have been suspended for riding against regulations, and 15 motorcycles have been taken to the tow yard for riding dangerously.

The operation will continue tonight.
